My track record with putting meals on the table isn’t the greatest for a working mom, let alone a stay at home mom. My husband actually enjoys cooking. He’s shouldered that load in our home for quite some time. He cooks, I keep the kids alive. This is our normal arrangement. While I love seeing the surprised look on his face when I do actually manage to have dinner ready when he gets home from work, I really do need to start pulling my weight in this department. I no longer have an infant who needs my constant attention, so that excuse has gone out the window.
I’ve decided to make cooking my new hobby. Since I’m better at baking then actual cooking, I’m just hoping I don’t gain a ton of weight, or spend every cent we have on Chinese food. My husband is out getting groceries for said cooking, with both children, as I type. Have I mentioned how awesome he is?
